Here we've provided answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. If your thirst for knowledge isn't quenched here, please don't hesitate to send an email to help@e-Seek-online.com
What is e-Seek?
e-Seek finds things. Be it information through research and investigation, or sourcing a specific rare or prestige item through our exclusive sources and agents. e-Seek provides a highly personal service that we're very proud of. Think of us as a bit like a 21st Century detectives, only without the crumpled coats, red ferraris or mysterious golden statues...
How does it work?
It couldn't be more simple - If you want us to conduct research, we can be hired at a weekly rate. Maybe there's a particular question you want a detailed answer to, or you want to trace your family tree in another country... well we can help!
If you wish us to find a specific item, we charge a small fee on a no-find-no-fee basis. The list of 'things' we can be asked to find is endless... we are really at the whim of our clients. To date, we've been asked to locate everything from skywriters to foot operated dog grooming tables, with spectacular results!
We are currently re-developing the e-Seeker programme. Our virtual workforce should be open to public soon. Please contact us if you're intrigued..
What makes you different to eBay?
We are not buyers or sellers... we're finders!
Essentially, we're the last resort- A service you come to when you've looked everywhere else and you need a little help. A service you might not need now, but that might be useful in the future...
We provide a personal, friendly, one-to-one service unlike anywhere else on the web. Everything about e-Seek, the company, and its methods is transparent and open to involvement from the public. We think this puts us leaps and bounds ahead of some of the bigger online companies.
e-Seek was founded in 2002 by Liverpool University graduate (and guitar tutor) John Ankers. Since then e-Seek has gone from strength to strength, growing into an international network of agents, sources, and clients.
John is very proud of e-Seek and the people it's been able to help. Their stories have been so varied (not to mention enjoyable, slightly eccentric and touching at times) that he's working on a book about their adventures.
We joined the ICEA (International Concierge & Errand Association) in January 2003 and became executive committee members of ICEA-Europe in 2004.
If you want a role in e-Seek's future development, or wish to form a partnership, please get in touch...
