In 2002, a friend of a friend of a friend asked me to find a Pokemon card for her little brother; a small enough trifle which made me think about how nice it would be to find "things" for people for a living.
Well since then, e-Seek's simple premise has evolved into something much bigger...
We now encourage people the world over to get involved, to help each other to track down those hard-to-find things (antique barber's chairs, stuffed lions, wooden mounties etc etc etc) This public service is now FREE.
For those requiring a more private, hands-on approach, we also offer a private service, each case being handled on a one-to-one basis.
With kind permission from those involved, some of our more colourful past cases are being written into a book “The Thing Detective”, which I'm aiming squarely at the “holiday paperback” market. Let me know what you think!
